Margie Craver has a Bachelor’s Degree from DePauw University in Horn Performance, did graduate study at Manhattan School of Music, and has a Bachelor’s degree from Immaculata University in Human Resources. She is the founder of the Mid-Atlantic Brass Festival. Margie also facilitated the Cory Band’s USA Tour in 2016 and arranged 2023 and 2024 USA tours for the American Horn Quartet from Europe. Margie is an accomplished horn and tenor player, currently playing in The Villages Pops Orchestra, Celebration Brass Band, Symphonic Winds, Horn Club, a Woodwind and a Brass Quintet. She has attended several educational brass banding schools, including the International Brass Band Summer School in Wales, the Bolsover International Brass Summer School in England and the North American Brass Band Summer School in Nova Scotia, Canada.
Margie began her intense engagement with British brass banding in 2009, joining two bands, Chesapeake Brass Band and the Atlantic Brass Band. Doing so, she moved from french horn to tenor horn. After winning the NABBA Championship in 2011 with Atlantic Brass Band, she committed herself to creating an education-oriented brass band festival, launching the Mid-Atlantic Brass Band Festival (MABBF) in 2012, with strong support by the Atlantic Brass Band. MABBF was a resounding success, growing from 3 bands to as many as 8, and attracting some of the most renowned clinicians and guest performers.
After moving to Central Florida, Margie joined Celebration Brass Band and the Brass Band of Central Florida (BCCF). Currently, she continues only with Celebration Brass Band on Tenor Horn and her other ensembles, throughout Florida, on French Horn. Being well-steeped in brass band community organizing, it wasn’t long before Margie emerged again as a community leader, and she was named as chair of the upstart 2025 Florida Brass Band Festival. Together with other experienced organizers, Margie expects to replicate past successes and drive a new wave of engagement for brass bands in Florida and the southeast region.

Dr. Aaron K. Campbell is an active low brass performer in the Tampa Bay area, and is the instructor of tuba and euphonium at the University of Tampa. He is a Besson, Denis Wick and Lefreque performing artist. Aaron holds a Doctorate of Musical Arts in Euphonium at the University of Florida, which he earned with a cognate in entrepreneurship. Aaron received a Master of Music in Euphonium Performance from James Madison University, and a Bachelor of Science in Music Education from the University of South Florida.
Aaron is the Founder, President, and solo euphonium of the Tampa Brass Band and serves as principal euphonium and low-brass section leader for the Florida Wind Band. Aaron regularly performs with other groups throughout Florida such as the Florida Orchestra, the Florida Wind Symphony, and the Brass Band of Central Florida. Aaron also performs frequently as a solo, chamber, and musical theater musician.
Along with being a performer, Aaron is in demand as a music educator. He currently boasts a large private studio, with students on all brass instruments. Aaron frequently serves as a clinician at conferences and also visits classrooms to give lectures. Of special note are Aaron’s presentations on musical entrepreneurship and creating non-traditional musical career paths, given at colleges and high schools. In 2023, Aaron assisted in the organization of the inaugural Great Canadian Brass Band Festival and was an adjudicator at the event. Unsurprisingly, he is a driver in establishing the Florida Brass Band Festival (FBBF), and now serves as the chair of the FBBF Board, which sets standards for and governs future FBBF events.

Eric Singer
Eric Singer is experienced in organization formation and development. He has founded and grown multiple technical conferences, community organizations, and several bands. Eric played with the two-time NABBA second-section champion Rockville Brass Band (of Maryland) on baritone horn from 2012-2019 and euphonium 2004-2011. Previously, he played trombone in an American big band in New York State.
With the Rockville Brass Band, Eric served as travel coordinator, managing its visits to the Mid-Atlantic Brass Band Festival (MABBF) and six trips to the North American Brass Band Association (NABBA) Championships. Working as the liaison to MABBF, Eric became familiar with the intricacies of creating and executing a successful regional festival. After relocating to Florida in 2020 and joining the Board and player ranks of the Orchid City Brass Band (of West Palm Beach), Eric was delighted to find a willing pair of experienced collaborators for creating a Florida festival – Margie Craver and Aaron Campbell. The FBBF Board and Festival Committee are talented and committed to success.
